On the occasion of the renovation of the wastewater treatment plant in Terwolde, artist Cecilia Rebergen created the work “Solidflow” from parts of the installation that can no longer be used. The artist, who often works with reused materials, was inspired by the industrial forms of water purification. She offers a unique insight into the functioning of components by literally presenting them cut open. The water, represented by the band, moves between robust industrial shapes. The processes that usually take place behind a closed gate, along with the associated materials, are made visible to everyone in this way.
